The company aims to expand its business in the region, after recording a 60% month-on-month rise in user growth across all of its markets this year.
EventX currently serves clients in more than 135 countries, including prominent companies such as Alibaba, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Yahoo. To date, it has facilitated over 20,000 events with over 5 million attendees in total.
In September, the event platform raised a US$10 million series B round co-led by consumer electronics company HTC and Chinese private equity fund Gaocheng Capital. Investments aside, it also partnered with HTC to roll out a virtual reality-based event platform that startups and small and medium-sized enterprises can use for free.
