You may already have the official soundtracks or even some of the many piano collections Square Enix has released in the past, but prepare to add one more to the collection.
Square Enix has just announced that they will soon release the third installment of the Piano Opera series, which features favorite songs from the Final Fantasy (FF) franchise. The first compilation featured selected favorites from FF, FFII, and FFIII. The second had songs from FFIV, FFV, and FFVI. Following the trend, the newest Piano Opera will feature tracks from FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX.
These will hopefully include:
FFVII’s One Winged Angel,
FFVIII’s Liberi Fatali,
And maybe even FFIX’s Melodies of Life:
No matter which tracks get included, you can be sure I’ll be buying the CD when it comes out on April 23, 2014. This Piano Opera will be sold on the Square Enix store for roughly $30.
