Israel enterprise platform bags $55.5m, sets foot in Australia

EasySend, an Israel-based customer analysis startup, has raised US$50.5 million in a series B round led by Oak HC/FT. Existing investors Vertex Ventures Israel, Intel Capital, and Hanaco Venture also participated in this round.

The company also bagged US$5 million in debt funding from Silicon Valley Bank. Both deals bring EasySend’s total amount raised to date to US$71.5 million.

Founded by Tal Daskal, Omer Shirazi, and Eran Shirazi in 2016, EasySend helps enterprises build customer applications, onboarding questionnaires, and claims forms with no coding. It has expanded to the US and counts financial services companies such as Cincinnati Insurance, NJM Insurance Group, and Petplan as its customers.

The company plans to use the fresh funding to accelerate its growth in the US, expand to more countries, and offer more use cases for its platform.

EasySend has also built a team in Australia, and it has named former Datorama managing director Mick O’Brien as vice president of sales for the Asia-Pacific region. The startup plans to increase its headcount in Australia to 20 by the end of 2022. The company will initially focus on acquiring clients from the financial services sector before moving on to the real estate, medical, and education industries.

Prior to this investment, EasySend raised US$11 million in series A funding in 2020, as well as US$5 million from a seed round in 2019.
