Additionally, Member.id announced the launch of Travel Secrets, a travel content platform that marks the company’s expansion into the creator economy. With the new service, brands and companies will be able to tap into Indonesia’s pool of influencers.
With the launch of TS Media, the startup also is set to establish a new content production unit called TS Media, which will focus on initiatives to raise awareness and activation through content, driving up customer acquisition for businesses.
Member.id said it plans to use the new funds to scale its content production capabilities by making new hires and bolstering its library of content. One of those new hires is actress and entrepreneur Luna Maya, who joins the company as its managing partner.
The company said the creator economy in Indonesia is experiencing a new high on the back of heightened social media usage and internet connectivity. According to data from App Annie, Indonesians spent an average of 5.2 hours a day on their phones last year, the highest worldwide.
Member.id is a marketing, media, and technology firm based in Jakarta. In addition to TS Media, the company also provides long-term loyalty solutions for businesses across industries such as F&B, hotels, retail, and online marketplaces.
