East Ventures leads seed round of Indonesian legaltech firm Justika

Indonesia’s Justika, a legal services marketplace that focuses on family, SME, and property laws, said it raised an undisclosed amount in its latest round of funding.

  • The legaltech startup will use the funds to extend its services across Indonesia through marketing initiatives and by making new hires and further developing its products.
  • Justika also said it plans to double its revenue next year, aiming to have 7,000 unique paying users per month by then.
  • It looks to capitalize on Indonesia’s “untapped” legal market, which it estimates to be worth about US$7.5 billion.
  • Justika previously raised funding in 2019, bringing in an undisclosed amount in a pre-series A round led by Indonesian legal firm Assegaf Hamzah and Partners.
