With technology ingrained in every aspect of our lives, most children now grow up as digital natives, but much of the online content they encounter doesn’t equip them with the skills needed for their development.
As parents, Jonathan Prathama and Adhi Paisoseputra also realized this and banded together to build an educational game platform called SoLeLands.
The massively multiplayer online role-playing game focuses on discovering its player’s passions and preparing them for future challenges. Kids can choose their occupations, which include archaeologists, inventors, and biologists, while learning about virtues, life skills, competencies such as literacy and numeracy.

SoLeLands also offers a tool that allows parents to view where their children’s talents and passions lie.
The Singapore-based company says it will use the fresh funds for product development and capacity building, as well as to prepare for the game’s soft launch in the fourth quarter of 2023.
