100X VC to invest in 100 startups in 12 months
Early-stage investor 100X VC plans to invest over US$16.5 million in 100 startups in the next 12 months.
It aims to invest US$165,000 for a 15% future equity ownership in each startup using iSAFE Notes, where an investor can make cash investments in return for convertible instruments.
These investments will add to the 80 startups that are already part of 100X VC’s portfolio.
Rebel Foods buys luxury chocolate brand
The cloud kitchen unicorn has acquired a majority stake in luxury chocolate brand Smoor, reported Mint.
Rebel Foods had recently committed to invest US$150 million in the acquisition and scale-up of food brands globally.
The company currently operates over 450 cloud kitchens across 10 countries.
