Singapore recently said it aims to deploy 60,000 electric vehicle charging points across the country by 2030 to help boost adoption.
While the city-state is just ramping up its efforts – it has around 3,600 charging points as of this year – startups can play an important role in this initiative.
One such startup is Charge+. The company has an ongoing contract with the Singapore Land Transport Authority to supply about 4,000 EV charging points in the carparks of housing estates.
It recently raised an undisclosed amount of series A funding to speed up the growth of its charging infrastructure in Singapore as well as in other Southeast Asian countries.
