Square Enix has put up a teaser site for a new Dragon Quest Monsters game for the iPhone, iPad, and Android. There are few details save for the genre, which translate to read “super light RPG”.
Dragon Quest Monsters is a spin-off from the Dragon Quest RPG series, where instead of fighting it out with party members, players capture and breed familiar monsters seen in the games. The super light version is likely a ‘lighter’ edition designed for mobile gamers, but who can tell? Perhaps, with greater emphasis on the mobile genre these days, Square Enix might just surprise us.
