Take a stroll around the CBD, Orchard, or Bugis, and you’re bound to come across several coworking spaces. Around 53 co-working spaces had sprouted here by early 2017 – but that number might even be higher, depending on the type of facility you count. Leasing demand is expected to hit 550,000 sq ft this year.
Ever since our first list in 2014, some coworking spaces have died out, while others have only thrived. A few have been bought – a high-profile acquisition being that of Spacemob by global coworking space operator WeWork.
As more coworking spaces opened, a few honed in on niche markets. There’s MVR Studio, a co-sharing studio for content creators, photographers, and videographers. Meanwhile, over at Orchard, Trehaus offers a childcare centre for professionals’ kids.
Here’s our updated list of coworking spaces in Singapore in 2018. It is by no means exhaustive, but we’ve listed both major players and niche studios alike.
