The partnership will allow customers who are registered on the Setara platform and have a unique payment identity (Pay-ID) to complete their order in the Domino’s Pizza app with just one click. Then, the amount will automatically be deducted from users’ Bank Rakyat Indonesia accounts.
Rajib Saha, co-founder and CEO of Setara, said the firm is already working on integrating all Indonesian major banks, such as Bank Mandiri, Bank Tabungan Negara, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Danamon, and Bank CIMB Niaga with its platform. Setara has partnered with other payment firms to extend its platform to include more banks as well.
Founded in 2020, Setara has two main offerings: a payment integration solution called Indepay and a merchant enabler called Tara. The company has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Beenext and T8 Capital Partners.
The firm said that it has onboarded 3,000 food and beverage brands in Indonesia onto its platform to date.
