Indian fleet management firm adds ex-Google exec to board

LocoNav, an India-based fleet management firm, has announced the appointment of Anjali Joshi to its board of directors.

Experience

• Joshi has more than 30 years of experience, which includes serving as the vice president of product management at Google for over a decade. Before Google, she was the executive vice president of engineering at Covad Communications, a broadband voice and data provider.
• Joshi is also on the boards of Alteryx, Iteris, and Lattice Semiconductor.

• LocoNav said that Joshi’s expertise will help the company achieve its vision of democratizing fleet technology for over 250 million commercial vehicles.
• The startup recently raised US$37 million in a series B round from Quiet Capital, Anthemis Group, Sequoia Capital India, Foundamental, RIT Capital Partners, Uncorrelated Ventures, Village Global, and other investors.
