If you’re a sucker for action games, cute game design, and anime-style drawing then join me as I whine about when we’re getting Closers Online or if we’re getting it at all. Korean developer Naddic Games recently revealed Closers Online‘s new teaser website, complete with new logo.
Closers Online is a high-speed action-fighting MMORPG where you play as an agent of an organization called the Black Lambs. Your goal is to eliminate dimensional monsters and protect Gangnam in New Seoul. Check out the opening cut scene here. It’s in Korean, but still looks cool anyway:
Closers Online allows you to play as four different characters, namely Seha Lee the Striker, Selubi Lee the Caster, J the Fighter, and Yuri Seo the Ranger. The website also teases a fifth character that has yet to be announced. To give you a better idea of how the game is played, check out the gameplay video:
According to a report by Steparu, Closers Online will be entering closed beta for Korea this summer. The website also says that “location names and in-game graphics for the game may vary to better suit the target country”, which suggests countries outside of Korea are most likely getting the game. The question is: when?
There has been speculation that the game will be released in Japan and North America as well, although that has yet to be confirmed.
