YouTube: We Are The World 25 For Haiti

haiti relieft we are the world 25YouTube might have the worst cyberbullying record, but it is  certainly one of the best channels for social good.

This video, directed and produced by Paul Haggis, Quincy Jones and over 80 artists including Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand, the Jonas Brothers, members of the Jackson Family and Justin Bieber aims to raise funds for earthquake relief in Haiti.

Besides YouTube, other social channels like Facebook and Twitter are also employed. There are basically 3 ways to help: Share information about the Haiti relief effort, buy the song on iTunes or donate directly via the crisis response page.

The video as described:

The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.
