Investment highlights
Asia saw a total of US$10.92 billion invested across more than 290 deals last month. Alibaba’s spinoff company Ant Financial raised the biggest investment round ever recorded for tech companies. In comparison to India, Southeast Asia saw a bigger funding amount invested in the region, and Indonesia took the crown home as country with the highest funding growth.
