Top Korean Game Developer Releases More iOS and Android Games for Global Audience
South Korean game developer and publisher Com2uS (078340:KS) launches a new game today titled Tiny Pop. The team will also release another game in early August called Heroes War. Let’s see how those two games can brighten up your days.

In Tiny Pop (pictured above), you control a cute sheep that’s trying to rescue its animal friends who are trapped inside bubbles. Tiny Pop’s gameplay is very similar to Puzzle Bobble or Line Bubble, whereby players get to shoot colored bubbles and pop them if they align three or more bubbles of the same color. There are two game modes available for play: time attack, and survival.

Heroes War (pictured above), on the other hand, is a turn-based RPG game. The storyline is quite fun as you get to play Trevor who tries to impress a girl by acquiring some powerful stones. Needless to say he gets into a lot of fights and recruits more allies to achieve his goal. Inside the game, players will be able to complete missions, quests, and dungeon battles. I personally took a liking to Heroes War’s simple game mechanics and character design.
Both Tiny Pop and Heroes War are quite popular in Korea, and have reached the number one rank on both iOS and Android in the respective app store’s games category. Both of them are integrated with the social gaming elements of popular chat app KakaoTalk in Korea.
Hub update
A Com2uS representative explains that the studio is updating to its game syncing feature called Com2uS Hub whereby users can sign in as members and have their gaming progress saved in case they want to continue playing on another device. Com2uS Hub can now integrate with Facebook, and the updated Hub – which will be completed late August – will link with Google+ as well, enabling members to find and invite more friends to play Com2uS games together. Games like Heroes War lets players and friends gang up in battling a mutual enemy, which serves as another interesting point in Com2uS’ titles.
Last time around, the same game developer released three new mobile games. They have over 28 million monthly active users.
Tiny Pop is available for free right now on (iOS) and (Android). Heroes War arrives in August.
