FB’s launch of Hello and very high valuations for Whatsapp underline the significance of phone graph. Phone graph is built on deeper relationships than the ones in other social graphs like the casual FB and mostly aspirational Twitter. Having someone on the phonebook indicates a stronger bond and more intimate connection. With smart phones becoming ubiquitous and almost extension of our personalities, phone graph is the richest, cleanest, and freshest source of information for most businesses. There do not seem to be too many businesses around harnessing the power of phone graph to its max potential. Any examples that come to mind?
