How 2 days in Kyoto changed Kamcord’s international strategy towards 1 billion mobile gamers. AMA!

Hi TIA community! I’m Adi, one of the founders of Kamcord. We are a 40 persons startup with offices in San Francisco, Tokyo, and Seoul. We are opening a China office soon!
We’re very excited to share our thoughts on the mobile gameplay viewing landscape (both live and recorded content), and talk about the successes and challenges in each of the countries we are operating in. Kamcord’s a very global company and we’d love to have a dialogue with the TIA community.
Our Director of International, Richard Hu, a Singapore native who has lived in China for many years, is also here to join the conversation!
We’re happy to answer any questions, specifically on the following topics:
- Entrepreneurship
- Y Combinator
- Fundraising – playing the game with a slew of tips and tricks
- Raising money from the big Asian strategic investors like Tencent and GungHo
- Common mistakes US companies make in expanding to Asia
- Examples of how our approach to China, Japan, Korea is different
- How to continue to build great products in the US and expand internationally
- Asian trends taking off in the US
Ask away! 🙂
Note from Huiyi, TIA’s community manager:
