Just two weeks ago, players on the Wakfu Asia server had to pay to play PvP, to use all professions, and to run dungeons more than three times a day. But from here on out, they won’t have to.
Ankama Asia has revised the Wakfu Asia premium service and made the game practically free. You can now access all major features of the game without paying for them; premium service will serve more as a buff for hardcore players, instead of barring non-paying players from a segment of the game.
The only feature still tied to the premium service is the Politics feature, which I honestly think is not too important to Asian gamers. Nevertheless, trying it out will not be expensive, as the premium service has had its price drop by about 50 percent across all one day, seven day, and 30 day packages.
Additionally, costumes, pets, player homes and Makabra items will no longer be sold on a rental basis, and will be permanent purchases, while Ogrines, the virtual currency, has had its price revised. You can check out the price revision via the shop calculator.
