eSports bar Imperium’s Gamers for Glenda: console gaming to help typhoon victims
The last time the Imperium eSports bar hosted a month-long free console gaming promo, it was in appreciation for the Philippine team’s performance in the South East Asia Major 2014. It’s planning something similar this month, though this time, it’s to help the victims of Typhoon Rammasun, also known in the Philippines as Typhoon Glenda. Check out the details as posted on its Facebook page:

Typhoon Glenda is one of the strongest typhoons to hit the Philippines this year, leaving $249 million worth of damages and around 700 casualties in its wake. Last year, Mineski donated all of the Mineski Pro Gaming League (MPGL) Season 5 Southeast Asian Grand Finals ticket proceeds to Typhoon Haiyan victims, after the calamity inflicted $2 billion worth of damages to the country. Mineski donated approximately PhP 100,000 ($2,286.76) while Gigabyte donated an additional $1000.
