One% Nutrition bags new funds to bring protein drinks to SEA
One% Nutrition, an Indonesia-based health and wellness startup, has closed its second pre-seed funding round in the six-digit US dollar range. The fundraise was led by Southeast Asia-focused VC firm Ondine Capital, with participation from existing investor Init6.
In an interview with Tech in Asia, co-founder and COO Nelson Hadisoeseno says One% aims to use the proceeds to strengthen its footprint across Indonesia beyond its initial bases in Jakarta and Bali. He adds that the new capital will also help accelerate product development, marketing, and overseas expansion.

One%’s products include protein shakes and waters, which are sold through offline channels like minimarkets, supermarkets, sports clubs, and gyms. These channels account for roughly 80% of revenue, with the rest coming from ecommerce platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, and TikTok Shop.
According to Hadisoeseno, awareness of the brand as well as the health benefits of protein grew significantly over the past six months as One% ramped up marketing efforts. He says the firm used a “grassroots” approach that involved engaging sports communities instead of relying on influencers.
One%’s revenue nearly doubled between December 2025 and February 2026, driven by the launch of its new protein shake in January. In the same month, it began expanding its presence beyond Jakarta and Bali, launching offline stores in Bandung, Semarang, and Surabaya.
Different from others
Founded in 2024, One% sells protein waters and protein shakes designed for casual drinking and fitness-oriented consumers. Its first product was a protein water beverage launched in April last year.
Hadisoeseno says the firm focuses on “taste, mouthfeel, and high-quality ingredients,” differentiating itself from other brands that often produce thick, heavy shakes aimed mainly at hardcore fitness enthusiasts.
“Our shake tastes like UHT milk, and our protein water resembles an electrolyte drink,” he explains.
One%’s products are designed to have a long shelf life and not require cold-chain logistics with temperature control, making them easier to transport and store for distributors and retailers.

Currently, the brand offers three product variants: honey lemon and strawberry protein waters as well as a chocolate protein shake. It plans to add between five and seven new offerings this year.
Rexi Christopher from Init6 notes “strong momentum” in Indonesia’s health and wellness sector, marked by the rapid growth of new gym facilities and increased participation in running and fitness events.
