China Roundup: Binance to halt trading in Chinese yuan, and more
Binance to halt P2P yuan trading amid China’s ban on crypto transactions
- The service’s termination will be effective on December 31 of this year.
- Binance will also screen users, and those who are from mainland China will only be allowed to withdraw funds from the platform.
- The move follows Beijing’s blanket ban on all forms of crypto transactions in the country, including those offered by exchanges outside China.
JD.com ships out new on-demand delivery service through tie-up with logistic affiliate Dada Nexus
- Called Shop Now, the service ships products from stores within 3 kilometers to 5 kilometers in roughly one hour.
- Products that can be delivered through Shop Now include groceries, gadgets, and medical products, among others.
- Dada said in a statement that over 100,000 offline stores have signed up to the platform.
