Ninja Van to hire 200 engineers from Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia

Ninja Van, a Southeast Asian logistics company that’s just raised US$578 million from investors including Alibaba, plans to hire 200 engineers to beef up its technology ahead of a potential initial public offering (IPO) in the US within two years,” Bloomberg reported.

Details:

  • The new hires will be based in Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia and will increase the startup’s engineering workforce 2x within the next 18 months, the company’s CEO Lai Chang Wen said.
  • The chief executive also said that the company “can push to an IPO” in the next two years.
