The horrors of regional marketing – Meetup

Hello, Hong Kong! Launching a startup across the region is a daunting task but there are those who conquered their fears and faced the horrors of delving into regional expansion.

Sharing their journey for their respective ventures are:

Jahanzaib Saeed – Jahan is the Regional User Acquisition Manager of Lalamove. His influence is made known by overseeing all aspects of Lalamove’s digital presence by delivering results for the entirety of Southeast Asia. His career on digital marketing flourished through his participation in his involvement with HappyFresh as the Performance Marketing Associate initially, then as a User Acquisition Manager prior to joining Lalamove.

Wilson Chan – Wilson is the CEO of BuyandShip. Today, one of the largest ecommerce logistics related startups in Hong Kong. He has established both his name and his company by successfully expanding to Japan, China, Taiwan, and Macau. His exemplary performance in leadership bloomed during his time as a Senior Associate at Ruger Consulting, followed by being an Assistant Financial Controller at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, and as an Associate at Japan Industrial Partners. His accomplishments were further recognized when he became a Partner at YCP Holdings in Hong Kong, where he was able to show his strengths for local expansion projects in the country and abroad.
