Vietnamese proptech startup Houze has raised US$2 million in a round led by DKRA Group.

Founded in 2015 by Pham Lam, Houze is an offline-to-online platform that connects agents and home buyers and provides transaction, management, investment, and financing services, among others. Its products include online brokerage Houze Agent, SaaS-based property management tool Houze Commerce, and real estate investment platform Houze Invest.
Houze said it will use the new capital to complete its core management team and improve its products. The company hopes the partnership with DKRA Group can help it take advantage of the group’s exclusive inventories and industry experience.
Another investment round is also on the horizon, which will enable it to launch new products, the startup said.

The news comes days after Propzy – another Vietnamese proptech startup – laid off 50% of staff as it restructures from having “large internal operations” to an automated, self-service model that relies 100% on third-party agents.
