Indonesian data firm’s shares skyrocket 10,000% in world’s best IPO
PT DCI Indonesia’s (DCI) initial public offer became the best-performing stock market debut globally this year after its shares surged 10,852% since its listing earlier this year, Bloomberg reported.
Founded in 2011, the cloud data service provider raised US$10.5 billion in its IPO in January.
The massive growth in the company’s share price has prompted probes from the Indonesia Stock Exchange on suspicion of manipulation. DCI’s representative, however, said the inquiries had found no violations on the company’s part.
Indonesian billionaire Anthoni Salim owns an 11% stake in DCI.
