Capcom's Strider announces new modes, will launch on most platforms February 19th
Strider, Capcom‘s shiny 3D remake of the original hit side-scrolling arcade game, has finally got a release date. The game will be coming to North American Playstations (both 3 and 4) on February 18th, and all the Microsoft stuff (PC, 360, and One) on the 19th. There are no Asia-specific dates available yet, but digital versions of the $14.99 game will likely be available in Asia for those who want to download them.
In addition to the release dates, Capcom also spilled the beans on two new game modes. “Beacon Run” is essentially a speed mode that tasks players with finishing levels as quickly as possible while also racking up a high body count. “Survival Mode” is the Strider version of Horde Mode; players will test their combat skills against waves of increasingly powerful enemies. And of course, the game will have global leaderboards so you can see how your performance stacks up.
