The Capcom Cup’s Asia qualifiers are finally getting under way. The Korea qualifier will take place this Saturday, October 19, in Seoul, South Korea.
The matches are expected to begin at 1:00 P.M. KST (GMT +9). While matches can be viewed from the embedded Twitch stream on Razer’s Capcom Cup subsite, you can also head over to the Capcom Fighters channel on Twitch itself.
Korea is home to several high profile Street Fighter players, Akuma player Infiltration being one of the most notable. Watch him crush Daigo ‘the Beast’ Umehara at this year’s EVO Championships here. While Infiltration didn’t quite take EVO this year, he did win himself a car from the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary celebrations just a year ago. It’s going to be interesting to see what else the Akuma player is out to get this year.
Only the top two players from the coming qualifier will make it to Singapore for the Asia finals on November 9 and 10.
The next Capcom Cup qualifier after Korea will be held in Taiwan, on October 26.
