I work on Data Science at YouTube/Google, Ask Me Anything!

Hi Tech In Asia Community,

I am Arun Kishore, a data scientist based out of San Francisco, California. I currently work at YouTube/Google, with my most recent projects focusing on YouTube Red subscription service and the standalone YouTube Music app.

Outside work, I am passionate about using data science and technology for public service and social good. In summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to partner with Singapore Government’s data science team on a few projects through SmartNation Fellowship Programme.  I have also worked on highlighting social issues through visualization projects utilizing public datasets.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing and composing music using my Charango (South American Ukulele) and travelling the world.
