In brief: Alibaba files for Hong Kong listing, sources say
- Ecommerce giant Alibaba confidentially filed for a listing with the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter said.
- Alibaba picked China International Capital and Credit Suisse Group AG to become lead banks, the people added.
- It was previously reported that the company could raise US$20 billion through this second listing.
