Bushiroad announces dates and venues for Cardfight!! Vanguard team league 2014

Cardfight!! Vanguard players within the SEA region can now prepare for the upcoming second Cardfight!! Vanguard Team League this year. Bushiroad announced on the Cardfight!! Vanguard site both the dates and venues for this year’s 3-on-3 team tournament.

Philippine players will face off at the upcoming Ozine Fest anime convention that will be held on April 26. Malaysian players can head to Sung Wei Wang Plaza on June 7. Singapore players will want to go to SCAPE warehouse on June 21. Indonesian players however will have to sit tight since their tournament date and venue has yet to be released.

Teams participating in this year’s Team League must align themselves to either the side of the “defenders” or the “invaders”. This is similar to the anime’s third season where the series’ protagonists were up against people who were turned to the dark side or were “reversed”. To bring their old selves back, they must be defeated in cardfight battles at the risk of themselves being reversed when they lose.

Defenders’ decks must consist of any of the current English meta, while invader decks must have at least three reverse cards or their clan must belong to Link Joker. So far, the current English meta only has three reverse units out of the 23 clans.

Four more clans however will get their reverse units on May 2, so countries that will have their team tournaments after the addition will have a wider selection of clans their teams can use.
