What they said about #tiajkt2017

Yesterday marked the end of our two-day conference in Jakarta. Curious about how Indonesia’s ultimate tech conference looked like for more than 5,000 of them who came? Here’s a peek at what some of them had to say.

Even before our conference took off, we could feel the excitement of our attendees.

The day was finally here! Many participants turned up bright and early.

We also heard your voices regarding the long wait for registration. We promise to work harder to tackle this issue the next time we meet!

GoWork, our Official Working Area Partner, set up a working area for our attendees to get down to work and meet fellow techies.

Day 1 was off to a great start with a full-house session at our ever-popular Product & Developer Stage!

Meanwhile, marketers were eagerly soaking up new knowledge on how to optimise their marketing campaigns at the Marketing Stage.

Missed out on the “How to pitch to a VC” session at the Startup 101 Stage? These slides (link in tweet below) will come in handy.

The most exciting panel discussions took place on our Main Stage, as we picked the brains of industry leaders.

The Revenue Stage wasn’t spared from the crowd either – it was abuzz with excitement from hungry salesmen and entrepreneurs looking to grow their bottom line.

llao llao yogurt ice cream was a hot favourite amongst the attendees, giving us a much-needed energy boost after all those talks and networking.

Before we knew it, Tech in Asia Jakarta was coming to a close with our signature and hotly-anticipated Arena pitch battle. Seven startups took the stage and had five minutes each to convince the judges that their startup is worth investing in.

Andalin, a logistics startup that helps small businesses with import and export procedures, went on to emerge as the winner. Congratulations!

While Arena marked the end of the conference, we’re sure plenty of collaboration opportunities lie ahead for many of the startups. It certainly made our day to hear about attendees enjoying themselves and forging new friendships with others in the tech scene.
