The nine roles include head of operations, head of compliance, head of risk management, expansion manager, securities compliance manager, enterprise risk manager, strategy and operations managers, HR administrator, and operations managers.

The fintech startup launched in Singapore more than one year ago and has more than 70,000 customers so far. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, it extended its Asia Pacific footprint to Japan and Australia and is now looking to further expand within the region, the company said in a statement.

Its teams in Australia, Singapore, and Japan will support initiatives such as product launches, market expansions, and growth acceleration, among others.

“Revolut is looking to expand globally and we are on the constant lookout for top talent in each market to join us,” said Ryan Park, who leads Revolut’s talent acquisition in Asia Pacific.

Meanwhile, the company is also shortlisting interns until November 30, 2020. The internships will start in February next year.

Launched in 2015, the UK-based company specializes in mobile banking, card payments, money remittance, and foreign exchange. It’s currently valued at around US$5.5 billion after the company raised US$500 million in a series D round led by Silicon Valley VC firm TCV in February.

In May, the company also named its new CEO, chief compliance officer, and head of growth in Singapore to ramp up its growth in the region.

The company competes with Singapore-based Nium, which generated US$7.3 million in revenue in 2019, and London-based Transferwise, which was valued at US$5 billion following its US$319 million secondary share sales in July.
