Indian retailers cash in on Steam sale hype with killer deals

It’s that time of the year when there aren’t any new, big AAA games on the shelf. A perfect time for Steam sales. And Indian retailers have been quick to cash in on the hype by announcing deep discounts on a slew of titles that are not just on PC.

Game4u has announced a monsoon sale that has decent deals on Playstation 3 games such as Street Fighter X Tekken for INR 749 (approx. $12.40), and Alice Madness Returns for INR 713 (around $12). These prices are valid till July 7.

Consoles not your thing? Then check out Games The Shop’s killer deals for PC on its newly christened Deal of the Week section. There are some great buys there, like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag going for INR 749 (approx. $12.40), and Civilization V Game of the Year Edition for INR 499 (around $8).
