Founded by Alan Chan in 2017, Omnichat helps online sellers to centralize their conversations with customers from WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Line, and WeChat into a single platform. It also provides marketing automation and chatbot solutions to make sellers’ operations more efficient.
In a statement, the startup said that its solution has been used by more than 5,000 companies in Asia, including Timberland, Kipling, and Logitech. In the past two years, its annual recurring revenue grew by 4x.
Omnichat plans to use the fresh funding to expand its business to Southeast Asia, starting with Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. It also aims to secure partnerships with ecommerce platforms in the region to integrate its solution.
“We will also invest more capital to technology and product development on our messaging platform, especially the remarketing and Chat & Buy features,” Chan said.
