Cherry Credits, publisher of the hit MMORPG Dragon Nest has announced that it will be holding Southeast Asian qualifiers for the Dragon Nest World Championship that is happening this December in Bali, Indonesia.

The qualifier will be for the three countries where Cherry Credits publishes the game: Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. These three countries last met at the Dragon Nest Championship Series 2014 3v3 PVP showdown, where Philippines team MSIEVOGT won. The qualifier gives a chance for either Malaysia or Singapore to get back at the Philippines, or for the latter cement its dominance in the game.
The Philippines won the 3v3 championship the last time these three nations met at the Dragon Nest Championship Series 2014.
At stake is a $50,000 prize pool, which will be divided among the top 3 teams. First place will take home $30,000 while second and third place will be receiving $15,000 and $5,000 respectively.

The qualifying process will start with three national tournaments. These will take place on successive weekends in October. The first qualifier will be held on October 4 to 5 for the Philippines; Malaysia will have its qualifier the following weekend, October 11 to 12, and finally the Singapore qualifiers will take place on October 18 to 19.
The winning teams from each qualifier will be flown to Singapore to compete in the playoff round on November 1, 2014. The team that wins the playoffs will then represent the Southeast Asia region in the Dragon Nest World Championships on December 3 to 6. They will be facing other top teams from Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and Europe.
For any teams interested in joining their national qualifier, registration for the events started this Monday, September 1, and will be open until Sunday, September 21.
As for those who simply want to watch their favorite teams play, Cherry Credits will be live streaming the event over its official Twitch channel.
