Co-founded by former Coinbase executive Spencer Yang, Gomu provides businesses with developer tools and APIs to build Web3-based wallets, apps, and services.

The round saw participation from DeFiance Capital and Saison Capital. It was also joined by angel investors such as Carylyne Chan, the former CEO at CoinMarketCap, where Yang previously served as vice president of growth.

Currently, Gomu has two main products: NFT Hub and Collection.xyz. The former is a white-labeled community hub and marketplace for NFT communities, while the latter is a protocol that enables NFT holders to create a liquidity pool with their digital assets.

Apart from Yang, the Gomu team also consists of employees who previously worked at other crypto firms like Coinbase, Binance, and Zendesk. They are based across the US and Singapore.
