Regulator: Indonesian ecommerce Blibli continues IPO process

Indonesian ecommerce firm Blibli has resubmitted an application to go public, Antara News reported, citing a statement from the country’s Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Inarno Djajadi, executive head of capital markets at OJK, said that Blibli previously postponed its IPO process. However, without giving a specific timeline, he said that the firm resubmitted its application a while ago.

The OJK executive did not mention the value Blibli aimed to raise for its IPO.

It was previously reported that the ecommerce firm planned to go public this year. Another report mentioned that Blibli may merge with travel booking platform Tiket before listing in the public market. Both companies are backed by local conglomerate Djarum Group.
