Do you like mechs? How about flying mechs? If you’ve ever wanted to blast a large chunk of metal out of the sky from inside your own giant chunk of metal, this Kickstarter page has a solution for you: Project Nimbus. The game is being developed by indie Thai game studio GameCrafterTeam, and from the looks of it, things are pretty far along:
You’ve still got a few days left to get in on the Kickstarter action, but you don’t have to worry about the game getting funded because it has already more than doubled its goal. If you want to get in on the Kickstarting and help the game meet its stretch goals, you certainly can, but you’ll also be able to pick it up easily via Steam once it has launched officially.
And it’s worth mentioning that the game has already reached some very cool-sounding stretch goals, including first-person Oculus Rift support, a sandbox mode, and even a Mac version of the game.
It’s not clear yet when you’ll actually get to play Project Nimbus, but with the game having well exceeded its target, the future looks bright. In the meantime, check out this earlier trailer (I think the voice-acting here is just a placeholder) to get a better idea about the game’s story:
