Blade & Soul's new year greeting reveals plans for new content in Korea
Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year holiday. Welcome to the year of the horse! In celebration of that fact, Korean developer Team Bloodlust sent a new years’ greeting message to Blade & Soul‘s players in Korea, and the message contains some interesting tidbits about the game’s development in the near future.
First and foremost, right now there are three new outfits in the game that players can pick up for free. Next month, according to the letter, the dev team will be unlocking new levels for heroes. And in March, there’s good news for those who like playing the popular MMORPG as part of a guild or clan: in March, Blade & Soul will be getting clan-specific clothing sets so you can really show off your allegiance.
It’s not clear when gamers in China may get their hands on these upgrades, but given that China doesn’t even yet have a release date for the Hell Island expansion that’s already out in Korea, my guess is they shouldn’t be holding their breath. Of course, Chinese gamers are still better off than the rest of us — the game still doesn’t even have an English release date.
