Many investors don’t have experience as founders and speaking to them is painful because they don’t seem to get it. They aren’t founders friendly and throw around terms that could kill your business.
Yes, founders who are building companies might be inexperienced but at least we have the bravery to start something we can call our own while you (investors) just sit around and call shots. If you don’t have experience as an entrepreneur, please don’t dictate the founder’s product/strategy because you might just kill the business. The best way to help a founder is to trust her and support her. Giving feedback is okay but always tell founders that this is just your opinion as a user and not as an “experience entrepreneur.”
