The biggest deals by country
🇨🇳 Yangtze Memory Technologies Co., a major manufacturer of flash memory chips in China, disclosed a US$219 million investment from Hebei Yangyuan Zhihui Beverage Co., which was made through its subsidiary Wuhu Wenming Quanhong Investment Management.
🇮🇳 Indian EV maker Ather Energy has raised US$156.94 million from anchor investors ahead of its IPO. Notable backers included SBI, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Invesco, Franklin Templeton, ICICI Prudential, Morgan Stanley, and Societe Generale.
🇯🇵 Japan-based Craif has secured US$22 million in its series C round to expand its early cancer detection technology into the US and boost research and development. The healthtech firm’s fundraise was led by existing investor X&KSK, with participation from the Unreasonable Group, Tauns Laboratories, Daiwa House Industry, and Aozora Bank Group.
🇭🇰 Terminal 3, a Web3 startup based in Hong Kong, has raised US$8 million in seed funding to enhance its data privacy and security protocols. The round was co-led by Illuminate Financial and CMCC Titan Fund, with contributions from Animoca Brands, Progression Fund, IDG Blockchain, and Cherubic Ventures.
🇵🇰 Pakistani healthtech startup MedIQ has raised US$6 million in a series A round led by Rasmal Ventures from Qatar and Joa Capital from Saudi Arabia, with additional investments from existing backers.
