Bad at League of Legends? Korean company Gamemeca lets you hire a League of Legends tutor

Bad at League of Legends? Need professional help? Well, Gamemeca has the answer to that. The South Korean company will soon be offering a new service called “punching”, which basically allows LOL players to have a special virtual coach by their side.

This is how it works: players log on to their League of Legends server as usual, but via Gamemeca’s service, the hired coach will also be able to see a live stream of their screen. In addition, the coaches can offer support and tips via voice chat, or just by drawing random squiggly lines on your screen.

There are currently four coaches to choose from, all of whom are or were professional League of Legends players:

Ring Troll: Former jungler for Incredible Miracle. Currently retired.

Longpanda: Former toplaner for CJ Entus. Currently playing for Team NB.

SBS: Former ADC for Xenics Storm and Team OP. Currently teamless.

Pecko: Former ADC for CJ Entus. Currently teamless.

Aside from the obvious benefit to players, Gamemeca hopes its “punching” service will also offer an alternative career path for retired eSports professionals. The company is also considering offering a similar service for other games, in addition to League of Legends. Price will definitely be a major factor in its success, but if Gamemeca can get Faker to offer private lessons—the company is set.
