Real life Feast of Winter Veil…only in Singapore

Blizzard’s organizing a proper World of Warcraft Winter Veil celebration in the heart of Singapore (sorry guys, we get all the good stuff) this weekend, sort of like a Christmas slash new year’s party. It’s not the first time they’ve organized a community event – ever since the first little meetup in November last year, they’ve been doing one every few months.

And you know what they say. Practice makes perfect. This particular meetup sounds like it’s going to be a whole load of fun with lots of swag for you to walk away with. Here’s what’s happening:

10 man PvP

Duke it out in teams of 10 on the Public Test Realm. Everyone on the winning team will get a Horde or Alliance shirt.

Duels!

If you’re the #foreveralone kind, pick up your toon and dust it off. No contest mechanics have been revealed, but the winner of the 1 on 1 finals will walk away with a BlizzCon 2013 ‘Cute But Deadly’ souvenir set.

Warlords of Draenor trivia test

Team up with four others and prove yourself worthy of the Loremaster title. The winners of this little contest will get a limited edition Jade Panda figurine, and possibly first dibs to the Warlords beta. I WANT THIS SO BAD.

Roundtable with Blizzard

Sit down with real-life Blizzard employees and tell them what you’d like to see more of. Balance suggestions not welcome. They’re more interested in what you’d like to see for the community.

Lucky draw, yay!

You could be the lucky winner of the Doomhammer, some World of Warcraft Megabloks sets, BlizzCon 2013 souvenir sets and BlizzCon virtual tickets. And if you’re not going to be there for the chance then I will!

The actual Feast of Winter Veil

There will be food and champagne. CHAMPAGNE. And sparkling juice for the kids. I wonder if there’ll be any [Gingerbread Cookies] and [Hot Apple Cider]?

Singapore’s Feast of Winter Veil celebration will be held at the Alienware Arena in Lucky Chinatown, and entry is free to all. Just indicate your attendance, so the organizers can estimate how many [Gingerbread Cookies] they should make. The event starts at 3:00pm this Saturday, December 21, 2013. See you there!
