Hello reader,
Happy new year! I hope that 2022 was a fulfilling one for you and 2023 will be even better.
Here in Singapore, all the Christmas decorations have been taken down and we’ve moved on from the season. It’s something I’ve always been highly amused by – once a holiday is over, all traces of it are suddenly gone and we go straight to the next festival or event.
In this case, Chinese New Year stores and festivities have started popping up even though we’ve still got some weeks to go. Public decorations aren’t the only thing the Chinese are dominating this week – our data shows that the top two funding deals over the last week came from China.
