11 games for you to play this weekend

It’s been a busy first full week here at Games in Asia! Obviously we’re still in the very early stages here, so you can expect a lot more over the coming months and years as our team grows and as we add new features to the site. But one of the things we’ll be doing from now on is offering a weekly roundup on all the games we’ve reviewed over the past week so that if you’re bored on the weekend, you’ve got some new games to try. What it is: An MMORPG with action-filled, fast-paced combat system and gameplay coupled with superb graphics.

TERA
Score: 8 / 10
Genre: MMORPG

What it is: A very pretty-looking fantasy MMORPG.

Racing Tank
Score: 4.2 / 10
Genre: Kart racer
Platform: iOS and Android
What it is: A mobile kart racer with tanks and more than a few bugs, too.

TianTian KuPao
Score: 6.5 / 10
Genre: 2D platformer
Platform: iOS and Android
What it is: A 2D side-scrolling platformer that’s a lot of fun when it isn’t begging you for money.

Shingeki No Kyojin Tribute Game
Score: 6 / 10
Genre: Simulation
Platform: PC Browser
What it is: A fan-made titan-slaying game with sub-par graphics, but great game play and 3D Maneuver Gear (3DMG) controls based on the popular anime and manga.

DivoSaga
Score: 7 / 10
Genre: RPG-RTS
Platform: PC Browser
What it is: A hybrid of RTS and RPG, which is boring at first, but gets eventually interesting, as the tasks and missions increase.

Fantasy Defense 2
Score: 8.5 / 10
Genre: Tower Defense RPG
Platform: Android and iOS
What it is: An refreshing take on the tower defense genre with a touch of RPG without having to trek in the shadows of the famous Plants vs. Zombies.

Flight of the Robot
Score: 4.6 / 10
Genre: Motion-based flying game
Platform: iOS
What it is: A game very similar to, but not as good as, Jetpack Joyride.

Eve Online
Score: 7 / 10
Genre: MMORPG
Platform: PC
What it is: A massive space MMORPG that’s got a lot of appeal, even for its age.

Ragnarok Online
Score: 8.5 / 10
Genre: MMORPG
Platform: PC
What it is: A true classic, even if it’s looking a little dated these days.
