Three Arrows Capital to move headquarters from SG to Dubai
Singapore-based VC firm Three Arrows Capital is looking to move its headquarters to Dubai amid the company’s plans to launch its first fund, which would take capital from external investors, CoinDesk reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Three Arrows Capital co-founder Su Zhu called Dubai’s digital asset industry “electric right now.”
The VC firm joins a growing list of crypto companies in Singapore that are eyeing the Middle East as an alternative crypto-friendly jurisdiction.
In January, Singapore’s central bank warned crypto providers against marketing their services in public areas. This included using online or print advertisements as well as hiring social media influencers to promote their services.
Dubai’s attractive tax rates, pro-business policies, and crypto-friendly stance have attracted an inflow of crypto firms in recent years.
