Founded in October 2021, Aria uses drones and IoT devices to increase the efficiency and productivity of farmers and large-scale plantations. It counts prominent companies such as Triputra Group, Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) Sinar Mas, and Bayer as its clients.
Umar Hadi Sucipto, remote sensing coordinator of Sinar Mas Forestry, said that Sinar Mas Group collaborated with Aria in a forestry project this year. “Aria achieved more than 95% quantitative achievement in three months,” he said.
Recently, the company also launched the Aria Tani app that can be used by farmers to obtain drone services and buy farm products such as fertilizer and chemicals.
Aria was established by William Sjaichudin, Arden Lim, and Yosa Rosario. It raised an undisclosed amount of pre-seed funding from GK-Plug and Play Indonesia, East Ventures, Triputra Group, Waresix, and Sahabat Group in March this year.
The firm plans to use the fresh funding to purchase more drone fleets and develop products and services to serve its customers.
