Josys, a Japan-based company running a SaaS and device management platform, has entered the Indonesian market through partnerships with local IT firms IDstar and Indonesia Future Technology (IFT) Group.

Part of Josys’ service is to help enterprise clients manage the lifecycle of company-owned laptops, mobile phones, and other devices. The partnerships let the company expand this service across Asia Pacific.

An IT consulting company, IDstar specializes in business process automation and automation engineering. As part of the partnership, IDstar plans to set up offshore development centers across Indonesia and “create a globally competitive workforce,” its CEO Ferdinand Prasetyo said.

IFT Group, meanwhile, has multiple subsidiaries across fields like HR management, digital financial planning, and customer service. Clients listed on its website include BCA, Deloitte, and Indosat Ooredoo.

Founded by Yasukane Matsumoto, Josys recently received US$93 million in a series B funding round led by Global Brain and Globis Capital Partners.

On top of Asia Pacific, Josys previously announced it was looking to grow its presence in the US. Matsumoto told Tech in Asia in September that Josys’ expansion efforts will include doubling its 120 headcount by the end of this year.
