Binance eyes Dubai for crypto-related activities

Binance is in talks with the Dubai government to sign a memorandum of understanding for crypto-related activities, reported The Business Times, citing sources.

Along with France, the Emirati city is likely one of the potential locations for the crypto exchange giant’s headquarters.

Binance is also in discussions with Indonesia’s Bank Central Asia and state-owned Telkom Group to set up a cryptocurrency exchange in the country.

Binance Asia Service, the company’s Singapore entity, withdrew its application for a cryptocurrency exchange license in the city-state and is set to close operations there by February 13, 2022.
